AdamCOT.com is the new domain for blog posts from my old site, adambeagle.com (don't go there — someone bought it and parked spam there). In addition to being moved, the site has been re-designed nearly from scratch.
The old site was built several years ago with Django 1.6. While a great learning experience, the site was getting outdated and Django was always a bit overkill for a static site, so I've used that as an excuse to mess around with Pelican, a static site generator written in Python. I hope to post an in-depth writeup of my experience with Pelican at a later date.
In addition to the the aesthetic changes, there are also improvements behind-the-scenes. The site now has a much lighter footprint; it no longer requires jQuery or Bootstrap (#ThanksFlexbox).
